Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 14, 2025 · Last Updated: April 14, 2025
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Supplement Tool (the "Service"), operated by Supplement Tool LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Supplement Tool is an AI-assisted software platform that helps auto body shops, roofing contractors, and restoration companies draft professional supplement letters, rebuttal letters, and related claim documentation for submission to insurance carriers. The Service generates document drafts based on information you provide. All output is a starting point for your review — it is not legal advice, not a guarantee of payment, and not a substitute for your own professional judgment.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into contracts on behalf of yourself or your business to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription and Billing
Supplement Tool offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate associated with your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect for existing subscribers.
5. Free Trial
We may offer a limited free trial (currently 3 free letters) without requiring a payment method. After the free trial is exhausted, a paid subscription is required to continue generating letters. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information to insurance carriers.
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation, including insurance fraud statutes.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service without our written permission.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage.
- Harass, threaten, or harm any person or entity.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The letters and documents generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence models and are provided "as is" for informational and drafting purposes only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying the accuracy of, and submitting any document generated by the Service. Supplement Tool makes no representation or warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, legally sufficient, or appropriate for your specific situation. The Service does not constitute legal, insurance, or professional advice.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding user-provided data and AI-generated output), is owned by Supplement Tool LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely for your internal business purposes during the term of your subscription.
You retain ownership of all data and information you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and use that content solely to provide the Service to you.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Supplement Tool LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Supplement Tool LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
15. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
